What type of paint would be more suitable to use on a window shade?

Posted by admin
HiME asked:

The window shade will be exposed to sunlight, and was actually painted using a mixture of acrylic and oil paints that resulted in a muddy color.Since I will be painting over the muddy color with skin tones, I need paint that will cover the previous disaster. Oil paints are thicker but much more expensive and I’m not sure how they will do in the sunlight, and acrylic is not thick so I do not think it will cover the previous paint. Any suggesions or tips¿ please and thank you.

The shade was what the shade was what the color if not then there is no guarantee any of hopefully the protective sprays that help protect and set the original paint again rather than try to mix chemical bases.

I’d use acrylic with a medium to thicken it if you are worried about coverage.
