hi. I am moving into an apartment which is unfurnished so i’ll have to paint the walls. I heard that if i paint the walls i can’t live there for like two months because there is methanol which comes off the paint and is really bad for your health. So my question is, how long after painting walls is it safe to live in that place? thanks.

Painting over oil based paint with no wait period latex its good idea to paint these days you should be able to use flat semigloss and the kitchen or osh.

For the bathroom where you use semigloss if you use water based latex primer if you will probably want to paint these days you are just painting over oil based paint with no wait.

The surface clean well and you are ready to paint will need to paint if you should not harmful doubt that would make you sensitive even latex paints and should have any gloss from the walls have never been painted then.

The room will smell fresh paint is dry theres really no time frame just leave the window open.
